Convert Filesystem From Fat32 To NTFS

How To Convert File system from Fat32 To NTFS   :

• start->all programs->right click cmd and choose run as administrator.
• In cmd window type convert drive_letter: /fs:ntfs (i.e convert H:/fs:ntfs)
• Now check the filesystem of the specified hard disk or partition,it will be converted from fat32 to ntfs .

Note:

• Conversion is carried out without formatting any hard disk or partition drives,which mean there is no any loss of data while converting the filesystem.

• Conversion from fat32 to NTFS is much needed if we wants to backup system image into hard disk or partion drives.

How To access registry settings remotely :
'Remote Registry Service' is the feature which allows us to access remote computer's registry settings.We can enable this service by

How To Back up registry(i.e regedit) key and value entries :

Wireless Broadband Modem Configuration BSNL

How to configure modem for connecting wireless network :

Wireless Network Connetion settings :

• Start -> control panel->network connections->choose the wireless network connection and right click it to select the properties.
• In properties window under this connection uses following items double click Internet protocol version 4(tcp/ip4).Now in general window assignip,subnet.default gateway.(note :ip,subnet,default gateway address can be obtained from your isp).In dns no need to put address.

Now disable the Local area connection and assign it to dhcp mode(i.e assign ip automatically) because if we use the same ip or gateway what is used in the wireless,then any one of the network only function properly.

For broadband connection Choose automatic ip assigning (DHCP)i.e

IMPORTANT NOTE : In order to view the available wireless network and get into connection then the modem configuration settings for wireless must have to assign as follows,

• 192.168.1.1  (default modem config ip) and provide the appropriate username and password (i.e admin isthe default password and username for most of the modem).
• choose wireless.
• Under wireless bridge select AP mode as Access point and bridge restrict as enabled and here no need to put the remote bridges mac address.
• Save and apply.
• Now we can connect with wireless network connections.

Tips :

• Putting appropriate ip,subnet,gateway in LAN or Wireless connection enable us to access the modem configuration page (i.e 192.168.1.1).We can say it will fix the problems like "192.168.1.1 error loading the page"
• Enabling wireless bridge setting as AP mode into access point & bridge restrict into enabled in modem configuration allow us to find and connect with wireless.

Wireless And Lan Conflict not working At Same time

LAN and Wireless Simultaneously not working conflict :

In network location i have three connections.

1. broadband connection (under broadband category)
2. local area connection   (under LAN or high speed internet )
3. wireless connection      (under LAN or high speed internet ).

In broadband connection i enabled obtain ip address automaticaly and DNS server address automaticaly.This can be enabled by start->control panel->network locations->right click broadband and select properties->under networking double click internet protocol tcp/ip to get general tab where we can set automatic assignment for ip address and dns server address.

In local area connection i manually typed ip address, subnetmask, gateway and alternate dns server address.

In wireless when i use the same ip, subnet, gateway, dns address what i used in local area connection i get an warning message with meaning as " the specified addresses are already assigned to another network adapter,if you use the same address then any one of the network connection only make use it and it result in incorrect system configuration".

• save as key.bat
• Blue (i.e personal) indicates folder name its our choice & green indicates password its also our choice.
• Now when we open the key.bat file an new folder with name personal was created and you can paste your secret files inside of it.

How To Store Files On Computer Securely

How To store the files securely on you computer :

Recquirements :

• Winrar
• image and text file

Steps :

• Copy one image file(i.e sun.jpg) and a text file(i.e secret.txt) what you would  like to maintain securely.
• Create New Folde (i.e name the new folder with your choice of name, here consider the name as files) And phaste the selected files inside of it in the C: drive.
• Archive The phasted Text file with winrar(i.e secret.rar).
• Then select start->run->cmd->Type following in the command prompt window.

            cd c:\files

c:\files>copy /b sun.jpg(i.e image name)  +  secret.rar(i.e Text file)  picture.jpg(i.e our choice of name)

           sun.jpg

           secret.rar               1 files copied.
Now Open C:->files->picture.jpg.
When we open the picture.jpg normaly by clicking,an image(sun.jpg) is opened but when we open it with winrar we can get the secret text file (i.e secret.txt).

Thats all now you can send your secret text file as picture file.
